The movie directed by Sanjeev Hazarika is an adaptation of the book ‘Bokul Phulor Dore’ and celebrates author's legacy through cinematic prowess. The film is about the struggles of a young intelligent boy and how he fails to complete his studies owing to his economic condition. Chanku Niranjan Nath, the protagonist of the movie has put in a brilliant performance in the role of a teacher. This is an inspiring story that shows how a teacher can be a backbone to the students and provide necessary support in times of dire need. The storyline and the curiosity regarding the uncertainty of Asim's future is definitely a charming aspect of the movie. The movie was screened at the 18th International Film Festival Thrissur as also featured in the Panorama Section of the15th edition of the prestigious Jaipur International Film Festival.
